Still Can Not Watch Netflix or Paramount +
I posted about a couple of weeks ago that I cannot access my Netflix or my Paramount+ without subscribing through COX. I spoke to one of the COX Rep and she did not know that COX has changed. She was able to verify it while I was on hold. So again, Why is COX blocking my access to the other apps that I pay for monthly? I had no issues before the change that was made. I can watch the Bally Sports Channel on my TV’s, and Android phone but on my iPad that channel keeps asking me to watch on my home WiFi and I’m already on my home WiFi. There are a few channels that do this on my iPad but no other device. I’ve tried deleting the Cox Contour App then reinstalling it and the problem is still there. Now that cox moved to yahoo mail. My settings in Thunderbird is all messed up. I can receive emails to my Gmail and my Cox/Yahoo accounts BUT I can't send email from either account. WiFi is so Inconsistent!
My WiFi is so inconsistent! I’m tired of having to wait for it to come back or unplugging and plugging back in then having to wait for it to reboot. It’s ridiculous that I pay money to have consistent service yet I don’t receive that… they need to give discounts if I can’t even use the internet half the time. Unfortunately my neighborhood doesn’t have a lot of options for internet but I bet Cox needs to update the lines here because I can’t be the only one with these issues. Has anyone else had these issues and did Cox ever do anything that actually solved this problem? I had this issue at the last place I lived which is only 20min away and all they did was just give me a new gateway and that did nothing to solve the issue. I have recently purchased a homes security camera system. It takes forever to connect/load to the cameras. I checked the highest Wi-Fi strength in the cameras I can get is 30%.! I’ve looked high and low for a survey, stayed on the call a bit and there wasn’t anything but silence. The call was infuriating, and the supervisor was only mildly better. I didn’t even need a supervisor, I just wanted someone different who could communicate more clearly in a way that didn’t leave me feeling jerked around. I had to ask 8 times. 8. I only got 1 of the three issues I had resolved but I was so frustrated I gave up.
