Addtl bill after final bill & a prorated refund
I don't understand why I am receiving an additional bill for $30 after I termed services in March 2024. All equipment was picked up and I paid my final bill. Now I receive a bill for "services from April 2024-May 2024" . I received no additional services. This bill came in a COX envelope and I keep getting the bill via email from COX. I went to online chat which the bill says to do. However, the chat agent could not provide an answer and told me I had to call Customer Service? Please help identify why I'm getting an additional $30 bill after termed services in March 202410Views0likes2CommentsClosing out email accounts
Greetings forum-goers, happy Sunday! I've been contemplating a question that's perhaps unusual considering that the vast majority of Cox customers wish to retain their email access. I'd rather close out these accounts and be done with them. Practically zero accounts are linked in any way to these Cox addresses. I personally manage over a dozen different email boxes for myself, and it's overwhelming to maintain. So what's the easiest way to close out and delete these email accounts in the midst of transition? Would it be enough to never log in to Yahoo!? Would Cox's transition offer expire and delete the emails for good? Surely there must be an implicit deadline to move off Cox before we lose 'em for sure. I'd just prefer to do this intentionally. So long, and thanks for all the fish!24Views0likes1CommentDelete "alerts/bulletins" under notifications
First of all I didn't know where to post this. How do I get rid of the bulletin? It states my payment will be past due, but it has been paid (a day before the due date). I've spoken to chat/mobile accounts & they have assured me it was paid. My account shows a 0 balanced owed. Now what? Thanks.15Views1like3Comments- 24Views0likes1Comment
Picture time out
I would’ve replied to the correct thread (https://forums.cox.com/discussions/tv/picture-time-out/37058), but apparently they don’t want anymore discussion about this. So, I’m starting a new thread. I understand SDV, I understand saving the planet by conserving energy and I also understand lower overhead in the name of bigger profit. The last piece is the true root of the problem. It shouldn’t matter why I want a single channel on for more than 6 hours. I pay my bill every month, which SHOULD give me a full month on a single channel if that’s what I desire.10Views0likes0Comments- 31Views0likes3Comments
Link cox.net mailbox in Yahoo
I was able to transition my cox.net account to Yahoo. I already have a yahoo mail account - lets call it xyz@yahoo.com Yahoo allows linking mailboxes to have a unified inbox. This is not working with my cox.net account 1. If I choose "yahoo" service provider option it says cox.net is not a valid yahoo email address 🤪 2. I cannot choose the "other" option as Cox servers no longer connect 😬 This is really messed up 😠 How to get this to work. Surely there is an underlying yahoo domain to the cox.net domain ?? Has no-one at Cox/Yahoo thought about this use case ??54Views0likes2CommentsHow long do I have to pay a late bill before disconnect?
I've been trying to move my payment date as I have hit some rough times (blown car transmission) and my bill will be paid late. Every time I try to do this, I just get a message that says "Sorry something went wrong. Please try again or contact us." I've tried to do this on the app and two different internet browsers but still no dice. I reached out via chat and no one could tell me any specifics, but they did try to sell me more services. I just need to know how long it is, typically, before I potentially run into disconnection. Also, how do you apply for a payment arrangement? Again, the agent I chatted with either didn't know or wouldn't say when I asked. Thanks.22Views0likes1Comment
