Using Yahoo email in Mac OS mail app
I have created my Yahoo account in my Mac OS mail, but I can't seem to bring it online-attempts to change it from offline to online are futile. Anyone with a Mac able to help? I tried Yahoo chat, the AI bot is useless and if I want help from Yahoo I have to pay. I can't stand Yahoo in the browser. I can't see the text very well b/c my eyes are old now. The ads are annoying and I will drop Cox before I pay for Yahoo premium. We were looking for a reason to switch to the new Verizon 5g box. Might be now. I just went to the mail.yahoo.com address that's been given and typed in my 5 letter email prefix and then Cox.net like I've was told to do by the instructions. It returned a message that, "Sorry, we don't recognize this email." What do I do now?79Views0likes1CommentPicture time out
I would’ve replied to the correct thread (https://forums.cox.com/discussions/tv/picture-time-out/37058), but apparently they don’t want anymore discussion about this. So, I’m starting a new thread. I understand SDV, I understand saving the planet by conserving energy and I also understand lower overhead in the name of bigger profit. The last piece is the true root of the problem. It shouldn’t matter why I want a single channel on for more than 6 hours. Contacted customer service 11/2023 about my promo ending 02/09/2024, plus we were moving so needed to transfer service as well. I asked how much of an increase I was looking at once the promo expired and if it was outrageous, I’d need to cancel service. I was told the increase was not much more as I was “eligible for a promo rate”…I would pay $120.25, I asked about my security system and was told it will all remain the same and my bill will be $120.25. My bill went up to $237.61 in March of this year. I’ve called, I’ve chatted etc etc and NO ONE will honor their agreement. I also was told my installation would be free, I paid $100 instead and another charge for extra equipment. I’m attaching the transcript as evidence since literally NO ONE at Cox will acknowledge the blatant lies and misinformation.
