SPAM OR REAL?
I recevied an email addressed to myaccount@coxcommunications.com asking me to visit a link to change to yahoo, not sure if it is a real email from cox, asking to visit www.cox.com/emailmove. Is it from cox or not. Sender is rev_butler0226@cox.net Has anybody else received an email like it? For one, the TV checking services once a week tells me they don’t feel their own product is good enough. I’ve never had a cable company do that. And secondly, never, ever should they have done that during the biggest breaking news we have had in presidential history and that is when the verdict was coming in for Donald Trump’s trial. A little while after the verdict came in, sure enough there comes the **bleep**ing Cox service checking our TV channels and they went out because of it! I set up my email info on Yahoo, including the profile where I add my name as I want it to appear on sent emails. However, in Outlook my emails show up with my first name + street name, in all caps! No way to change it. I've tried on my desktop to re-enter my name and no luck. I would like to know why my internet has constantly been going in and out for the past 2 weeks. I receive no texts from cox, which I have requested during outages. This is becoming very frustrating. cox tv service problems in southington ct today 5/29/2024
Problems with cox trying to put in new systems. Our tv remotes are asking for for tv codes on all 3 of our telebisions. Cox was suppose to have everything by 8 am today. Now they are saying it will be fixed by 7"00 PM. This is very poor service. We paid almost $300 per month for cox services - 1 cell phone, 1 home phone, TV servicek and internet sevice. I am a 83 old male with severe hearing issues, and handicapes needto heve a procedure to iwiden left heart valve, also getting treatments on my narrow spiral colum issues causes lots of nerve pain. We no longer are able to place a simple phone call to get a cox tech to come out and fix the problems that we have today with all of our 3 tv sets.19Views0likes2Comments5 days no service, no updates.
I fully understand the unique circumstances involved here. It was an opportunity for Cox to raise their level of communication/service with at least the communication piece. I signed up for text updates day 2……not a one has been sent. No time frame, no explanations.259Views3likes7Comments
